Ten years later, Cathy meets a frail Ruth who organizes for a meeting of the three friends to seek for forgiveness. She donates her last organ and dies. Consequently, Tommy and Cathy become friends aga in but the play culminates when he is donating his last organ as Kathy is looking onto him on the other side of the glass window.
